Tattoo culture magazine
Issue 1 — Spring 2026
About
Every issue of Our Body is built around a simple idea: that tattooing deserves the same attention we give to music, film or architecture — as a culture with its own craft, its own history and its own people.
The body is the only canvas that moves, ages and answers back. Everything we publish starts from that fact. The tattoo is not decoration applied to a person; it is a record made with them.
Four sections, one obsession. Craft follows the machines, methods and hands behind the work. Culture reads the symbols, histories and rituals of the ink. Studio visits the rooms where tattooing actually happens. City maps the streets, shows and scenes that keep the needle moving.
We are independent, slow and print-minded. Stories are commissioned, fact-checked and written by people who spend real time inside the culture. We publish one issue per season, in English, with no paywall and no noise.
Pitches and letters: hello@ourbody.mag — we read everything, slowly.
